Registration & Admission

Becoming a part of Doon International School means joining a legacy shaped by decades of excellence, leadership, and transformative learning. Your first step toward this journey begins with our Registration.

Submitting an application for registration marks the beginning of your child’s association with our esteemed institution. Upon completion of the form and payment of a non-refundable registration fee, your child’s name is placed on the official waiting list for the desired class and academic year.

Parents may request the registration form and school prospectus directly from our Admissions Office — your doorway to understanding the values, culture, and opportunities that define the Doon International experience.

Direct Admission

For exceptional learners who demonstrate remarkable academic performance, the school may extend the opportunity for Direct Admission. This pathway is open to outstanding students from India and abroad who embody the spirit of dedication and excellence we value.

Applications must include the last two years of academic records, progress reports, and an institutional recommendation, submitted along with the admission form. Direct admission is granted solely at the discretion of the Principal, ensuring that every student welcomed through this route truly reflects the merit and promise our legacy upholds.

Overseas Applicants

For families around the world seeking an education rooted in excellence and global values, Doon International School opens its doors to exceptional young learners. Admission for overseas students is offered to those who demonstrate strong academic promise and reflect the curiosity, character, and commitment that define our legacy.

Parents are required to submit certified documentation showcasing their child’s academic achievements — including detailed records, the most recent mark sheet, and a formal recommendation from the last institution attended. Each application is carefully reviewed by our Admissions Committee, ensuring that every international student who joins us meets our high standards of merit and potential.

Academic Scholarships

In keeping with our founding vision of nurturing talent and supporting deserving students, the Doon International Educational Society offers a limited number of merit–cum–need scholarships each year. These scholarships honor students who embody dedication, excellence, and the drive to achieve more.

Parents of children who have received an offer of admission may apply confidentially to the Principal for scholarship consideration. Through this initiative, we aim to empower promising learners and ensure that the Doon International legacy remains accessible to those who will uphold it with distinction.

  • June 1 to July 7Summer Vacation

    School will remain closed for summer break. Students are encouraged to enjoy rest and recreational activities.

  • October 28 to November 3Diwali Break

    The school will be closed for Diwali celebrations. Wishing all students and families a joyful festival.

  • December 30 to January 7 Christmas Break

    Students will enjoy the Christmas holidays. A perfect time for family, reflection, and relaxation.
