The entire team comprising of Guneet Singh, Mehtab Singh and Daisy Singh, was accorded 10 gold and 8 silver medals. They will be competing with top 20 teams of the world at Yale University, New York.
DIS conferred with the Best Chain of Schools Award - Doon International School was adjudged the ‘Best Chain of Schools’ by HNN News Channel. The award was presented to the Chairman of the school, Mr. D.S Mann by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat at a glittering ceremony at hotel Sarovar Portico today.

A student of IX class, Parnika Sisodia was confered a scholarship of 25000/- rupees by the leading newspaper Hindustan Times after clearing an Essay writing competition and interview round.
DIS witnessed an incredible evening on the occasion of 'Bidding Adieu' to the outgoing batch of class XII. The immaculately attired boys and girls set the ramp ablaze with their walk and impressive introduction on the basis of which the jury of judges comprising of Hon'ble Managing Director- Mr Charanjeet Singh Mann, Executive Director - Ms Simrita Mann and worthy Principal Ms Manjeet Madra honoured Nikeet Dhillon and Aniket Dhaliwal with the coveted titles of Ms Doon and Mr Doon respectively.
In collaboration with Humble to be Chandigarhians, Doon International School, Mohali organised a Blood Donation Camp which witnessed enthusiastic response from donors and about 40 units of blood was collected. The camp was held under the aegis of Medical Association of Rotary Club. Later on, the donors were warded with a certificate of appreciation, a gift and refreshments.
Cleanliness is a way of life at Doon International School. The institution propagates the golden maxim- “If we live in it, clean it’. Recognising the Schools’ successful interventions for maintenance and promotion of cleanliness and betterment of the environment, Municipal Corporation Mohali awarded DIS with the first prize under “Swachh Survekshan 2018”. Braving the testing weather conditions, the budding and resilient football players of Doon International School outwitted the teams of Vivek High and Oakridge schools in U-8 and U-10 categories respectively. The host team displayed their sportsmanship,agility and fair play to lift the Football Trophy in the Second Junior Inter School Soccer Tournament.
The splendid and exotic extravaganza of events at Doon International School enthralled the audience. This three day feast for the eyes comprising of 'The Musical Evening', 'A Tribute to Bhagat Singh' and 'Krishan Leela' showcased the awesome and breathtaking performance of the students chiselled under the astute guidance of the teachers.
Accolades to DIS for its undeterred efforts which resulted in bagging First runner-up position in Mohali and fourth position in Punjab and 40 position in country in the India Ranking Awards 2017 organised by Education World. . This prestigious award was conferred on Mr Charanjeet Singh Mann, the Honourable Managing Director of the Institution.
Heartiest Congratulations to Jaspal Singh Class of 2012 on being selected for the Phd Program at Yale University, USA. Being 22 years old he will be one of the youngest students to get enrolled for a Doctorate Program. He will be joining one of the oldest and most reputed Universities of the world- Yale University.. After finishing his Class 12 from Doon International School , Mohali he completed his B. Tech from IIT Ropar and his work in the field of Encrypting has been widely acknowledged. It is indeed a matter of great pride for the DIS Community. We wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
Once again Doonites showcased their rhetorical and writing skills prowess at Learning Path School. The host school conducted an event named ‘Scholars Cup’ and our students clinched 7 Gold and 19 Silver medals in various categories.
Both Naaz Bagga and Jaskirat Singh have been adjudged as School Top Scholars of Doon International School.

In DAUDEGA AJITGARH MOHALI HALF MARATHON Rahul Yadav grabbed bronze medal in 5km Marathon, Danish N Ahmed and Parampreet Singh were in top 10 in 1.5km.
Parnika Sisodia of class VIII with zonal rank 15 and Dhanrajbir Singh of class IX with Zonal rank 4 has cleared 2nd level of 16th Cyber Olympiad.
The Kindergarten Wing of Doon International School organised the Art Exhibition-Assemblage. It was an educational and theme based programme.The parents along with their kids enjoyed clicking their memorable memories at the selfie booth.
Doon International School Mohali hosted its First Inter School Kindergarten Soccer Tournament. Doon International School qualified for the finals winning from Mount Carmel. Holy Angels defeated Oakridge to qualify for the finals. It was a tough match between the final teams. Holy Angles won the final match scoring 1 goal against Doon International School.
Another mean to be honored as one of our student’s Manroop Singh of class - IX got selected for Nationals in Swimming.With his hardwork, determination and dedication he has many a times brought laurels to the school.
