Tej Partap Singh Brar & Ridhi Prasad of grade 8 won the laurels by bagging 6th place in 26th State Level Children's Science Congress - 2018 jointly organised Punjab State Council for Science & Technology & Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh.

Award of commendation to students of commerce stream for distinctive achievement with the grand opening of their own personal bank Named as Doon-Dale accounts of learning and education will cater to needy DISFamily member. On the eve of Children’s Day and the birthday of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, this year, DIS organised the first “Minithon” under Road to Fitness Club for classes I to XII .This nascent initiative is taken to promote fitness and to save environment from vehicular pollution. An apt honour for DIS,the newest addition was Ms.Ritika Singh in the list of prominent names .The promising youngster made her professional debut as 2nd Runners Up in Miss Tricity 2018 ( Beauty with Brains) beauty peagent. Heartiest congratulations to her for bringing laurels to DIS!!! Success stories depend on our rock hard resolves and how we channelize our efforts in accomplishing them.


Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. This is what the students of DIS Mohali proved when they were declared the second top team in South Asia in World Scholar's Cup at Melbourne, Australia.


The entire team comprising of Guneet Singh, Mehtab Singh and Daisy Singh, was accorded 10 gold and 8 silver medals. They will be competing with top 20 teams of the world at Yale University, New York.


DIS conferred with the Best Chain of Schools Award - Doon International School was adjudged the ‘Best Chain of Schools’ by HNN News Channel. The award was presented to the Chairman of the school, Mr. D.S Mann by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat at a glittering ceremony at hotel Sarovar Portico today.


Igniting the curious minds, the young and energetic doonites clinched 13 gold and 31 silver medals by competing with the challenging 34 schools in World Scholars Cup hosted by Learning Path, Mohali. Proud to announce that the teams are selected for Global Round.


A student of IX class, Parnika Sisodia was confered a scholarship of 25000/- rupees by the leading newspaper Hindustan Times after clearing an Essay writing competition and interview round.


In collaboration with Humble to be Chandigarhians, Doon International School, Mohali organised a Blood Donation Camp which witnessed enthusiastic response from donors and about 40 units of blood was collected. The camp was held under the aegis of Medical Association of Rotary Club. Later on, the donors were warded with a certificate of appreciation, a gift and refreshments.


Cleanliness is a way of life at Doon International School. The institution propagates the golden maxim- “If we live in it, clean it’. Recognising the Schools’ successful interventions for maintenance and promotion of cleanliness and betterment of the environment, Municipal Corporation Mohali awarded DIS with the first prize under “Swachh Survekshan 2018”. Kudos !! Keep it up!!


Heartiest Congratulations to Jaspal Singh Class of 2012 on being selected for the Phd Program at Yale University, USA. Being 22 years old he will be one of the youngest students to get enrolled for a Doctorate Program. He will be joining one of the oldest and most reputed Universities of the world- Yale University.. After finishing his Class 12 from Doon International School , Mohali he completed his B. Tech from IIT Ropar and his work in the field of Encrypting has been widely acknowledged. It is indeed a matter of great pride for the DIS Community. We wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.


Once again Doonites showcased their rhetorical and writing skills prowess at Learning Path School. The host school conducted an event named ‘Scholars Cup’ and our students clinched 7 Gold and 19 Silver medals in various categories.


Proud moment for Doon International School, Mohali, as School bagged two major awards i.e Best School in Extra-Curricular Activities and Best Principal award to Mrs. Manjeet Madra in 7th Asia Education Summit & Awards, 2017 function held at New Delhi on Thursday ,9 March 2017.


Two of our students Tejveer Singh Randhawa of class IV and Amrita Singh Randhawa of class VI brought laurels to the School by bagging the Roller Skating Championship. Amrita obtained the 1st position and Tejveer bagged the second position.


The First Inter-School Kindergarten Athletic Meet was held at Doon International School on 11th March,2016. A total of 9 schools participated and the event was a huge success.


GURNOOR SINGH of class X cleared the 2nd level of Cyber Olympiad. He has been accorded with “Certificate of Credit” and cash prize of Rs 1,000/-


School congratulates our students for their excellent performance in the National Cyber Olympiad! Two of our students, Gurnoor Singh of Class X and Arpanpreet Singh Sandhu of Class VIII got Medal of Excellence and are qualified for the second level.

Navdeep Sandhu(Class III) , Jyotsna Sharma (Class VIII) , Japreet Singh (Class IX) and Malika Verma (Class X) have been rewarded with Gold Medal.


Amrita Kaur Randhawa of class-V bagged 1 Gold, 2 Bronze medals in Inter-school Skating Championship held at Manav Mangal School and 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze medal held at Blue Bird High School.

The new academic session of the school begins on April 1 every year and it is desirable that all admission formalities be completed well before that date.
